Whiskey and Music: Art Forms, Expressions, Stories, and Passion

A verse. A chorus. An artist with an origin story. Different genres. Different instruments. Music and the people who make it have stories to tell, a thousand different ways to tell them. And lovers of music connect with songs they find relatable, sometimes singing along at the top of their lungs and surrounded by friends.

A start. A finish. A distiller with an origin story. Different mash bills. Different ingredients. Whiskey and the people who make it have stories to tell, and a thousand different ways to tell them. And lovers of whiskey connect with flavors they find relatable, often sharing with friends for special moments and special occasions.

See the connection? Both are art forms of trying to create an expression that people feel.

A Deeper Connection

When it comes to the people we work with, we have all some with whom we connect more deeply than others. I found that many of the musicians I work with share my interest in whiskey, and that is something that we bonded over above and beyond our music connection. We tend to talk about whiskey much like we do about music, learning from each other, and sharing experiences. My goal in doing this podcast is that the listeners will have the opportunity to feel stronger connections through music and whiskey as well.
